At sixteen I loved The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and I loved The
Killers’ “When You Were Young,” so I set out to put the two together.
There was no quick way to grab the footage I wanted, so I did it the long way. I
played through the entire game, recording as I went, just to have the raw material.
Then I cut it all together into a music video timed to the song.
Made at 16. A full playthrough, cut to music.
It took a ridiculous number of hours to make, and I loved doing it.
